No. 19 The internet is not made for women with Carol Wersbe

Today, we are joined by Carol Wersbe from The Center for Intimacy Justice! CIJ advocates for equality for women's health and reproductive rights with a current focus on the digital suppression and censorship of femtech brands on social media. Carol and I dissect the impact of censorship on women and people of diverse genders' experience on the internet and the impact lack of information and education can have on people's mental health. Have you ever considered who is creating the algorithms that control what we do and don't see online? This episode is a sobering look at the reality of women's online experience, but hopeful about what we can do for ourselves and our circle when we stay informed. These barriers affect how we view ourselves. They can be exhausting. Follow CIJ. Keep learning. Awareness is key to our wellbeing. 🌿
